Now that Karina was safe and the Stag Lord was dead Chase had time to reflect back in his accomplishment and his companions. He really admired Raam and is straight forward honesty in how the world was and didn't seem to look down on people because of his station. He liked Fizz and his sharp Elven mind, but was a little worried about his captivation with his bottles and beakers versus taming the lands for families. He liked Zuhair for his fiery steadfast devotion to his goddess, but sometimes wondered if his efforts to spread her faith would not be better spent by doing some hard work for the people rather than preaching to them. Balian was still somewhat of a mystery to him, while he admired his control of his horse and it's use on the battlefield, to Chase it still felt that the little lordling put too much stock in a titles and his constant brooding made him wonder that if Balian reason for preferring to fight while riding his steed he was in fact his way of looking down on all the common folk trying to scratch out a life in this wilderness. Chase was still lost in thought when he noticed Balian looking down at them from up on the battlement, as the rest of the party was discussing what to call our supposed new Kingdom, Chase thought to himself this is never what he was supposed to do in life, but he guessed this is the vision that Erastil had for him. So he should make his opinion known.
When Zuhair, brought out another round of drinks everyone cheered and it caused a lull in the conversation. Chase then looked up from his carving, "You all realize this area is called the Stolen Lands?" Brushing the wood shavings off his legs, "Some people assume it was because the lands were stolen from either the River Kingdom or Brevoy." As Chase continued with his comments he tossed the Elk he had just finished carving to Raam's new six foot tall shadow to play with, "I always felt that it was called the Stolen Lands because they were actually stolen from the good hardworking people that tried to settle these lands." As Chase stood up he slid his carving knife into its sheath on his belt, "So if you think about it like that by conquering these land we are in away redeeming them and returning them to the hard working families of the area, so it's seems almost fitting that we call the first city Redemption."
